Wings Over Willamette is EAA Chapter 292‘s annual fly-in and STOL event at 7S5 Independence State Airport. The event features a variety of exciting activities, including STOL WARS (a Short Takeoff and Landing competition), educational displays, aircraft exhibits, and more. Attendees can expect to see a range of aircraft, from vintage planes to modern marvels, and enjoy family-friendly activities throughout the weekend. There are opportunities to meet pilots, learn more about aviation, and experience the vibrant community at Independence. Fly-in into 7S5 for the weekend! Our non-towered 3000 ft asphalt runway accommodates most light GA aircraft.
